About the funding
The Foundation’s aim is to bolster sculpture across various historical, modern, and contemporary contexts. It endeavors to finance research projects that broaden the understanding and appreciation of sculpture.
The Foundation provides funding across the following categories:
- New Projects and Commissions: Grants typically range below £20,000, with a maximum cap at that amount.
- Acquisitions and Collections: Grants typically range below £20,000, with a maximum cap at that amount.
- Research and Development:
- Long-term Research (for organisations only): Grants typically range below £20,000, with a maximum cap at that amount.
- Research and Travel Grants (for individual academics, curators, and scholars): Grants typically range below £2,500, with a maximum cap at that amount.
- Conferences, Lectures, and Publications: Grants typically range below £5,000, with a maximum cap at that amount.
This fund is open to not-for-profit art galleries, museums and institutions concerned with art and art history, including UK universities.
