The Screwfix Foundation has re-opened for applications from charities and not for profit organisations for projects that will fix, repair, maintain and improve the properties and community facilities of those in need by reason of financial hardship, sickness, disability, distress or other disadvantage.

The types of projects they fund included:

• Improved energy efficient lighting and heating
• Installation of new kitchen, bathroom etc.
• Installation of a sensory room
• General painting & decorating
• Improving safety and security of a building

Grants in the region of £5,000.

Projects must help those in need. This could be by reason of financial hardship, sickness, distress or other disadvantages.

Applications are reviewed on a quarterly basis. The next closing date for applications is the 10th May 2025.
