The UK Fund has come from the new NLCF strategy, ‘It starts with community.’ The aim of this fund is to support organisations that want to do more to help communities come together and help make a better-connected society.
To apply to the fund you will first have to attend one of their webinars followed by a chat to discuss what your project is about which you can book through [email protected]. The funder will asses your idea and confirm if this is something they may fund where you can process in placing in an application.
NLCF want to fund projects that:
- Strengthen relationships between people whose experiences of life have not been the same. For example, relationships between people of different ethnic backgrounds, generations, occupations or geographies
- Create connections between online and offline worlds
- Help make sure people from all backgrounds can shape the future of their communities.
