Volunteering with Emmaus

The volunteer team at Emmaus Hull & East Riding has grown steadily with a total number 36 people currently supporting them in various areas of the charity. They are so appreciative and grateful for the time their volunteers so kindly gift to them! They feel so lucky and privileged to have a team on board with such diverse and varied skill sets. Volunteers support their charity in a variety of different ways including:

• helping within their enterprise stores (in support of their wonderful partnership with Hull 4 Ukraine) by sorting, hanging, steaming & pricing clothing items
• working within their community to develop their garden project for their companions & visitors to enjoy
• supporting their staff and companions on the Rough Sleeper Outreach Team.

Their volunteer team is growing fast so jump aboard! They currently have the following opportunities available:

• Enterprise shop sales support
• Clothing assistant
• Assisting in the warehouse
• Van driver / Driver’s mate
• Gardener/ grounds support
