The Warren Youth Project – Project Worker
About the job
The Warren Youth Project are recruiting a full time Project Worker for 35 hours per week.
The project worker will be part of a small project team to support Care Leavers aged 18-25 into meaningful employment and continuing the research into systemic barriers to employment for Care Leavers.
The successful applicant will liaise and build constructive partnerships with the Local Authority (particularly the Care Leaving Team), employers, training providers, the Action Researcher, other relevant partners, and the funder to ensure the success of the project. They will be supporting young people in a trauma-informed way, understanding young people’s needs and engaging them with targeted support and positive activities with a view to moving into appropriate employment.
