The Downright Special Network are recruiting a part time 8 hours week term-time only (39 weeks) Health Lead.

The Downright Special Health Lead is responsible for supporting families and professionals in understanding the health and wellbeing needs of children and young people with Down syndrome. Working directly with parents, carers, professionals in health and social care and the Downright Special team, you will have the drive and passion to improve health outcomes and enhance the experience of health care services for people with Down syndrome.

You will have responsibility for developing strategies, tools and resources to empower parents and carers to be able to navigate the health and care system and support their child/young person’s health, wellbeing and development.
