A Rotherham mental health team is celebrating being a top performer in a national NHS league table, which assesses patient care across the country.

Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust’s (RDaSH) Early Intervention in Psychosis Team has secured the coveted level 4 status – the highest possible – in the 2021/22 National Clinical Audit of Psychosis (NCAP). Based at Swallownest Court, Swallownest,,the 25-strong team work with patients who are at risk of, or recovering from, a first episode of psychosis.

Team manager Nicola Bonser said: “Only 16 percent of teams like ours across the country were awarded Level 4 by NHS England, so we are all delighted. This is testament to the commitment and hard work of every single member of staff, their passion for early intervention and for helping the people we work with.” Read more here.
