ONS publish data on what actions people are taking due to cost of living crisis

The Office for National Statistics (ONS) has published findings from their analysis of data from the Opinions and Lifestyle Survey examining what actions people affected by rising costs are taking.

Around 4 in 10 disabled people experiencing rising cost of living cut back on food and essentials.

People from deprived areas are more likely to cut back on food and essentials.

More than a third of those whose cost of living had gone up cut back spending on food and essentials (35%, around 16 million people).
