“In Your Corner” Youth Support Worker (Goole Youth Action)

Salary: £13,949 (£14.50 per hour)
Hours: 18.5 hours per week, on a one year fixed contract.

You will work with an Assistant Youth Support worker 6 hrs per week.

Goole Youth Action (GYA) a registered youth charity working since 2015 to help improve the lives of young people living in the Goole & Old Goole area, requires an outstanding individual to lead the delivery of a new and innovative project called the “In Your Corner” a partnership between Goole Amateur Boxing Club, Goole Youth Action & Partners.

Following a successful funding award from the Office of the Police Crime Commissioner (OPCC) Humber, we wish to employ a part-time Youth Support Worker for 18.5 hours per week on a one year fixed contract (we hope to extend this but will depend on the successful delivery of project and additional funding) working with young people aged 14+ who will be both vulnerable and potentially challenging.
