Health and Social Care Secretary Visits Jean Bishop Integrated Care Centre
Health and Social Care Secretary Steve Barclay visits the Jean Bishop Integrated Care Centre in Hull to find out how closer integration between health and care services is helping deliver a better service.
Named after beloved local, Jean Bishop, the Health and Social Care Secretary identified the centre, operated by City Health Care Partnership CIC, as one of the initiatives transforming healthcare in the region. Jean was known as the ‘Bee Lady’ and spent decades fundraising approximately £124,000 for Age UK, dressed as a bumblebee.
