Funding for charities supporting inclusion, mental health, and environmental protection.

Background

The Womble Bond Dickinson Foundation was established in 2017 by the Womble Bond Dickinson (UK) LLP to support the structure and administration of the charitable giving of the firm.

The Foundation currently has the following areas of focus:

  • To unlock potential and make a positive difference, particularly in communities in which the partners and employees of Womble Bond Dickinson live and work. Charitable donations are focused on improving social inclusion and making a positive impact on individuals, especially those from disadvantaged and diverse backgrounds.
  • To provide help in response to international emergencies.
  • To positively impact the environment towards a just transition to Net Zero.

Objectives of Fund

This fund aims to support charities making a positive impact under one or more of the following themes:

  • Climate action and environmental protection.
  • LGBTQ+ inclusion.
  • Supporting the inclusion of individuals from ethnic minority backgrounds.
  • Increasing women’s opportunities in life and work.
  • Disability and neurodiversity inclusion.

Mental health and wellbeing support.

Who Can Apply

UK-registered charities can apply.

Priority will be given to charities and projects operating within local Womble Bond Dickinson communities.

Location

UK. However, priority will be given to Womble Bond Dickinson (UK) LLP office locations:

  • Bristol.
  • Edinburgh.
  • Leeds.
  • London.
  • Newcastle.
  • Plymouth.
  • Southampton.
  • Teeside.
