About the funding
The fund is designed to help organisations carry out essential fabric repairs on church buildings of any Christian denomination across the UK. To be eligible, the building must have heritage significance.
- Medium Grant Programme Grants of up to £10,000 for projects costing between £20,000 and £80,000 – The next deadline for applications is 12th August 2025
- Large Grant Programme Grants of up to £50,000 for projects costing over £80,000 – The next deadline for applications is 4th November 2025
Repairs will usually be identified as Category A or B recommendations in the most recent Quinquennial Inspection report, or as urgent repairs in condition surveys.
Eligible projects include:
- Roof repairs
- Masonry repairs
- Rainwater disposal and drainage
- Floorwork
