Free community meal taking place on Thursday evenings run by FoodCycle in Marfleet, Hull.

FoodCycle are a national charity who provide 3 course community meals with no criteria or barriers to entry. Their guest base is wide ranging but can include those that are experiencing hunger and/or loneliness as well as those passionate about saving food from going to waste and those that simply enjoy coming together to eat a meal. Week in, week out, they nourish the hungry and lonely in their communities with delicious meals and great conversation, using food that would otherwise go to waste. Their meals are also all vegetarian in order to be accessible to all diets and cultures. Anyone, from any walk of life, is welcome, no questions asked.

With winter approaching and the rising cost of living, they are beginning to feel a higher demand for their services. If you have any service users, clients, networks or people you work with who you feel may benefit from attending their meals, please do invite them to attend and spread the word.

The address for FoodCycle Hull Marfleet is Marfleet Community Centre, Rear of 22-24 Swanfield Road, Hull, HU9 4PX. The meal is served at 6.30pm.
