About the funding
Allen Lane Foundation makes grants to small registered charities, voluntary and charitable organisations/groups in the UK for work that makes a difference to people’s lives to help alleviating the symptoms/problem of isolation, stigma and discrimination.
The foundation wish to fund projects that:
- Will make a lasting difference to people’s lives rather than simply alleviating the symptoms or current problems
- Is aimed at reducing isolation, stigma and discrimination
- Encourages or enables unpopular groups to share in the life of the whole community
To apply you must have an annual turnover of no more than £250,000 (if you live in a small town/village no more than £100,000)
