Building Forward Together is a significant transformation programme designed to develop a new relationship between Hull’s voluntary and community sector and its public sector partners and to ensure that opportunities for engagement and service delivery are maximised. This is a strategic change programme working across all sectors designed to develop and support new partnership and collaborative arrangements, recognising the need to think and work differently to improve outcomes for our local communities.
Following the initial stages of the development of this work, we have now agreed to establish two new partnership Task and Finish Groups to look at key areas of work. Membership of these Task and Finish Groups will be made up of representatives from the public and voluntary and community sectors.
We are now looking for VCSE representatives for the following Task and Finish Groups:
New Models of Commissioning
This Task and Finish Group will look at developing a range of options to support the future procurement and commissioning of services, including alliance contracting. More information about this workstream can be found here Building Forward Together – New Models of Commissioning Brief (2) (1)
Social Value
This Task and Finish Group will look at developing a common Social Value framework for the City, including maximising opportunities for community focused social value activities as part of wider commissioning and contracting. More information about this workstream can be found here Building Forward Together – Social Value Brief Final (3) (5)
If you want to nominate yourself for either of these Task and Finish Groups or would like to find out more information about the Building Forward Together programme, please email Jason Stamp on [email protected].
