Kit Out Hull

Active Humber, Street Games and Hull CC are working in partnership to bring Kit Out Hull, a kit recycling scheme designed to get sports clothing and equipment to young people who otherwise may not be able to take part in sport and physical activity. It has been designed to recycle clean, good condition sports kits to keep textiles out of landfill (and the back of people’s cupboards!) for the good of our planet as well as ensuring that young people are not being held back from being physically active. 

We are currently looking for local businesses and community organisations willing to host a collection bin during week commencing 24th June.

We will be accepting donations of; 

• Training tops / hoodies / waterproofs 
• Leggings / joggers / shorts 
• Tracksuits 
• Sport specific footwear such as football boots and running shoes 
• Small equipment such as footballs / rugby balls etc.
