Workshop – Connecting youth voice and health engagement in North East and Yorkshire

This workshop aims to bring together practitioners from the voluntary sector, health, education, and local authorities to explore opportunities for collaboration and best practice sharing, with a focus on linking up the great work already happening in the region.

Why Attend?

This participatory workshop will provide an opportunity to connect existing efforts, identify collaboration opportunities, and shape a regional approach to youth engagement to avoid duplication and strengthen what’s already in place.

• Share good practice: What’s working well in your area? Share and learn from successful youth-led projects and health-based youth engagement initiatives.
• Cross-sector learning: Connect with organisations leading youth engagement in health, education, and voluntary sectors.
• Join the dots: How do we better connect ‘everyday youth voice’ (what young people are telling us in their spaces) with the health voice work (ICB-led engagement, long-term conditions, physical health, etc.)
• Discuss challenges and solutions: How do we make sure youth voice leads to real action, rather than just collecting views?
• Colleagues from the Northeast region across the different ICS’s have nominated your organisation to attend, as you have an essential role in youth engagement.
