Humber North Yorkshire Good Work, Health and Skills Stakeholder Workshop

Thursday 10 April 10am- 1pm, online

Voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) colleagues are invited to attend this workshop.

About the workshop:

The focus on growth and productivity for the new government has resulted in an increase in policy and funding for good work, health and skills across Integrated Care Boards (ICBs), Mayoral Combined Authorities (MCAs) and Local Authorities (LAs). Combined with the Humber North Yorkshire ICB 4th purpose of helping the NHS to support broader social and economic development, this provides a lever for the Humber North Yorkshire (HNY) Integrated Care System (ICS) to expand and explore opportunities to act on, and challenges to address, at system level for the population of HNY.  Whilst acknowledging the complex landscape with 1 ICB, 3 MCAs (2 yet to elect Mayors) and 6 local authorities, this provides the opportunity to work together to frame and develop the leadership of this work,  whilst allowing for flexibility with emerging priorities.

This stakeholder workshop will:

  • Provide opportunity for the ICS and other stakeholders to come together to understand opportunities for action.
  • Learn from other ICBs and MCAs on ways of developing good work, health and skills agenda across multiple stakeholders and complex boundaries.
  • Explore creative ways to evaluate the process of developing good work, health and skills across complex boundary landscapes.
