Sport Welfare Connect – Issues Affecting Children and Young People
The Yorkshire and Humber Sport Welfare Team are hosting an online Sport Welfare Connect event on Thursday 3rd July 2025, from 6pm to 7.30pm (with the opportunity to stay online for an informal discussion until 8pm).
This free networking event is primarily for Club Welfare Officers but is open to anyone working within welfare, wellbeing and safeguarding in sport and physical activities.
What to expect:
- Guest speaker on vaping and its impact on young people
- Trauma-informed coaching practice – understanding the effect of difficult experiences
- Understanding behaviour of children and young people
