Community Recovery Fund Awards
Hull City Council was allocated funding from the Ministry of Communities, Housing and Local Government (MHCLG) in response to the violent disorder that took place across late summer 2024. A proportion of this money was allocated for schools and the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector to provide projects and activities that will help to improve community cohesion.
An open call for grant applications was held, and 82 applications totalling more than £2million were received. Two decision-making panels were held, with representatives from Hull City Council/Community Safety, the Police and Crime Commissioner’s Office, and the VCSE. The grant administrators were not decision-makers at panel.
We can now confirm that the following projects were funded through Hull’s allocation of Community Recovery Fund, along with additional funding from the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government to improve community cohesion.
