Discounted Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) opportunity for VCSE organisations

An Employee Assistance Programme is a service that provides support to an organisation by identifying and resolving employees concerns that impact the effectiveness of an organisation whether the concerns originate from work or from the home.

CiC Wellbeing has been procured by Humber and North Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership on behalf of a number of health and social care organisations in our region. By procuring this on behalf of a number of organisations, they have been able to secure a competitive price for each organisation for a wide range of benefits, which includes the following. 

Employees can call the confidential care line which is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year and is accessed by calling a freephone number to discuss issues they would like support with, for example; 

  • Managing pressure
  • Bullying and harassment
  • Performance at work
  • Marital, family and relationship difficulties
  • Stress, anxiety and depression
  • Alcohol/substance misuse and addictive behaviour
  • Bereavement
  • Work/life balance issues

A referral for up to a maximum of x 6 counselling sessions can be provided at no extra cost. If after 6 sessions further counselling is required, alternative support will be signposted. In addition to emotional support, CiC provide practical support in a number of specialist areas, such as; debt management advice, legal and tax advice, child, elder and disability care issues, everyday matters (family and general information and support services).

This services is offered at £4.28 +VAT per head, irrespective of staff numbers. Contract management would be through HNY HCP and you would receive Monthly/Quarterly Management reporting and access to webinars and promotional literature.
