Location: ERVAS offices within the East Riding
ERVAS has received Reaching Communities funding through the Big Lottery Fund to support individual young people aged 13 – 18 (up to 25 for young people with S.E.N.D.) years old, living in the North East of East Riding of Yorkshire and who have experienced a range of difficulties in their lives. You will work closely with the Volunteen Plus Support Officer to support these young people and engage them in volunteering activities of interest to them. This will help them to improve their confidence and self-esteem, as well as enable them to gain skills, knowledge and qualifications/accreditations in order to enhance their future employability prospects.
They are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced person to build on work conducted over the last six years, to offer 1-1 support to vulnerable groups of young people living in the North East of East Riding who currently experience difficulties in their lives which prevent them from engaging in volunteering and gaining from the benefits this brings.
