About the funding
The Essential Living Fund offers small grants for household items and essential clothing to those who are in financial need to help cope when things get tough, manage better day-to-day and build a stronger future.
Some of the follow items you can apply for:
- Baby needs (equipment and clothing)
- Beds, mattresses and bedding (including sofa beds)
- Clothing and school uniforms
- Cookers
- Fridges, freezers or fridge-freezers
- Washing machines
- Furniture
Applicant can apply for up to three items, however it is unlikely to receive all three and in most cases the Trust can only assist with one item
