The Citizens’ Academy

Humberside Police are offering an exciting opportunity to learn about what the police do and see first-hand the day to day working of the Police Force.

The Citizens’ Academy will offer a selected group of people a unique insight into how the different departments within Humberside Police work to protect people from harm, and improve the quality of life for the residents, businesses and visitors.

The next Citizens’ Academy will be held at Clough Road Police Station, Hull and will start on 8th May 2019.

It is an 11 week programme consisting of lectures and demonstrations provided by Police Officers and Police Staff. Classes will take place between 6.30pm and 8.30pm every Wednesday with the final session taking place on 17th July 2019.

If you live in the Hull postcode area and are over 18 years old, then you could apply to be part of the Citizens’ Academy.
