Established in Sheffield as a small refuge for women from South Asian Communities over 35 years ago, Ashiana has now become one of the leading specialist services supporting women from all Black, Asian, Minority Ethnic and Refugee (BAMER) communities, supporting and empowering them to escape violence and abuse

Are you an inspiring, driven and compassionate individual, passionate about making a difference? If so, Ashiana are recruiting for some exciting new roles to support and develop services for women whose lives have been affected by violence and abuse. Ashiana is looking for committed individuals to work with and support the Senior Management Team to develop and build upon their existing work.

THE ROLES INCLUDE:

Office base in Sheffield and working across South Yorkshire (Some roles will require regional and national travel which will be specified on Job Descriptions)

  • Programme Development Manager
  • Refuge Lead
  • Area Lead – Human Trafficking and Modern Slavery
  • 2 x Project Officers specialising in violence and abuse issues in BAMER communities including FGM, Forced Marriage, Honour Based Violence and Domestic Abuse
  • Community Engagement and Employment Manager

West Yorkshire and Humberside (Anti Human Trafficking and Modern Slavery Projects)

  • 2 x Area Leads for West Yorkshire and Humberside
  • Support Worker
  • Training and Development Officer (Sheffield base can also be considered for this role)
