Salary: £22,000 pro rata
Hours: 22.5 – 37.5 per week
Duration: Fixed term until 31st January 2021
Annual leave: 33 days per year (pro-rata, including bank holidays)
Base: Marfleet Community Centre, 22- 24 Swanfield Road, Hull. HU9 4PX
To provide mentor support to members of the Mutual Aid through Business Project (the Project). This support will be provided consistently for the term of the individual’s membership on the programme and will enable members to achieve their goals in relation to starting or developing a business and/or gaining skills that will aid their employability.
Since its incorporation in 2012, TimeBank Hull and East Riding (the TB) has grown into one of the most dynamic and demographically diverse TimeBanks in the country and has recruited over 900 members who have exchanged more than 21000 hours.
This role is an exciting opportunity for you to be an integral part of the next phase of the organisation’s development. The TB has received funding from The Community Led Local Development fund in order for it to deliver a programme of interventions for those who need support to enhance their employability skills or move into business creation/self-employment. This project will be delivered within the context of the mutual aid approach to community development and will complement Timebanking practice.
