Making Changes for Careers Programme ( MC4C)

By August 19, 2020Local News

Hull City Council’s MC4C programme supports young people in the Hull aged 16 to 29. They are now in a position to recruit new participants, which is especially important as the youth employment rate is increasing at an alarming rate.

This programme has a focus on developing a young person’s skills for those who would like to set up their own business or are seeking employment, apprenticeships, further education or training.  They have an experienced team, who provide training and one to one advice and support.  During the current Covid-19 pandemic, the team has been working hard to develop new ways of working, including video conferencing and phone calls whilst working from home.

They also have volunteer bank of mentors, who are on hand to support young people whilst on programme with everything from employment advice, business advice or if the young person just needs a casual chat

You can give members of the team a ring to find out more information:

Charlene Porteous Employment Advisor Charlene.porteous@hullcc.gov.uk Tel 07925397532

Graham Henderson Business Enterprise Advisor graham@gh-events.com Tel: 07388247032

Take a look at the following links and feel free to share and show them to your young people as it will give an idea about how the team have supported and continue to support current and former participants.
