Help Artlink to support vulnerable groups isolated by CV-19

By June 5, 2020Local News

Artlink runs the Creative Connections project to help combat isolation and loneliness for people in disability social care centres. Creative Connections was halted by the pandemic which is having a negative effect on the wellbeing of groups.

Artlink want to re-start the project by creating packs of art materials which they‘ll send out in an accessible package suitable for people’s individual needs. The aim is to help bring people together again with a creative project at this challenging time.

They‘ve partnered up with Danny’s Dream (a specialist day-care centre for adults with profound and multiple disabilities), Sight Support (the region’s main provider of a wide range of practical and emotional support to people of all ages and varying degrees of sight loss), LAFFS at Bellfield House (a care facility for children and young adults with disabilities) and Victoria House part of the Disabilities Trust (a residential facility for people with complex and high dependency needs).

Please help Artlink by sharing the project page to raise awareness, and donate if you can (opens in a new tab)
