York MCN encompasses a programme of work aiming to improve the systems supporting people who experience severe and multiple disadvantage and ‘multiple and complex needs’ (MCN), including issues such as homelessness, mental health problems, offending, and substance misuse. A key part of this work is the York MCN Network, a cross-sector, multi-agency network bringing together people with lived experience, frontline workers, commissioners, managers and strategic leaders to share experiences, learn, build trusting relationships and develop a system-wide approach to better support people experiencing multiple and complex needs.
The York MCN Enabling Team has four key functions: convening; supporting; communicating; learning.
The Executive Administrator will provide high level administrative support to support these four key functions. The role with involve working with staff and network members to develop and promote spaces, practices and platforms to enable systems change across the York MCN agenda.
Reporting to a staff member on the York MCN Enabling Team, this role will provide high level administrative support to the York MCN Enabling Team and the York MCN network. This will include diary management, secretariat support, meeting and events management, communications including reports, presentations, newsletters and website copy, and supporting relationships development with network members and wider stakeholders associated with this work.
They are looking for a team player who has an interest in the multiple complex needs agenda, is committed to supporting systems change, and is able to work flexibly and responsively to emerging issues, projects and priorities.
