Making and crafting can be very potent when it comes to tackling mental health issues, for example, the ‘Yarnfulness Project’ a study by Oxford University, demonstrated how yarn based crafts can reduce depression and anxiety and help slow the onset of dementia.
Sarah J will be talking about her many years’ experience of using mixed media arts and crafting as a powerful means to improve mental wellbeing.
