Permaculture is the development of sustainable ecosystems, and promotes eco-therapy. Studies have found that there are mental health benefits to gardening or ‘green gyms’. Regular gardening can contribute to reducing mental health problems like depression and anxiety, reduce stress, combat high blood pressure and improve overall physical fitness.
