Local Nature Partnership Event
October 18 @ 9:30 am - 1:00 pm
The newly published Hull and East Yorkshire Local Nature Partnership prospectus will be used to introduce the LNP to new audiences and outline the Partnership’s core work areas for the next few years. With all the uncertainty currently at a national level, and concern about the environment and climate at an international level, they are keen for the LNP to show how nature can be a core element in addressing our climate crisis locally whilst growing the economy and making people’s lives better.
To do this, you are invited to a wider partnership event this autumn. The Partnership are keen to show you how far the LNP has come since its formation in 2014, what it has achieved and where they are going next. They want to have your input on this, and find out if you want to get more involved in what they do.
The event will take place on the morning of Friday 18th October, at the Ergo Centre, near Hessle, with lunch provided.
Topics and presentations will include:
- The role of the LNP in helping deliver the Government’s ambitions
- Investing in the environment to deliver economic growth
- Improving health and wellbeing through accessing the environment- Opportunities that the Northern Forest provides
