Integrated Communities Innovation Fund Meeting
August 1 @ 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm
Sector Support NEL would like to offer our support to facilitate collaborative bids from the North East Lincolnshire area if this should be of interest. If this is something you are interested please confirm your attendance by replying to firstname.lastname@example.org by 5pm, Monday 30th July 2018.
Deadline: 20th August 2018, 11.45pm for Stage One – Expression of Interest
Amounts: No minimum or maximum (total pot appears to be approx. £7m)
Aims: Building strong, integrated communities where people – whatever their background – live, work, learn and socialise together, based on shared rights, responsibilities and opportunities. Projects should address the breadth of factors that can lead to poor integration (see page 5 of prospectus – link below). This is a Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government Fund, with funding from Sport England – sport-themed projects are therefore welcomed.
Criteria: Projects that can be scaled up to benefit a minimum of 300 participants. Revenue only. Partnerships welcomed but not essential. Organisations must be legally constituted or have statutory powers, have been operating for at least two years, and demonstrate fair and transparent governance arrangements. Must be willing to take part in full evaluation and share learning. PLEASE NOTE – this fund might be suitable for several smaller applications and it doesn’t appear (from a quick skim read!) that they will only accept one per local authority area. However, it is likely that a partnership bid or at least linked bids would be better received than several bids that don’t seem to be collaborating. Could fit well with inclusive growth agenda.
