Integrated approaches to community wellbeing workshop
September 30 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm
The Local Government Association (LGA) and national partners are currently exploring how they can better help local systems to achieve their ambitions around improving community wellbeing. In particular, developing a resource which pulls together good practice and highlights the importance of integrated community working. Many local areas are doing some really interesting things and working in an integrated way, but implementing and sustaining these improvements can be complex and finding examples of good practice challenging .
As a result the LGA are running a workshop which will:
- Have a range of speakers presenting on their integrated community work
- Give people the opportunity to network with colleagues from different areas and professions
- For the LGA and partners to capture the views and recommendations of local colleagues so that any resource developed is useful to local audiences
The speakers who are presenting will cover a range of perspectives such as joint working, commissioning and delivery of services so this event is suitable for attendees from health, social care, the voluntary community and social enterprise sector, housing and any others involved in integration and improving community wellbeing.
The workshop, which will be held in Leeds on 30th September, is free to attend and will run from 10am – 3pm including a lunch:
