Hospital Services Workshop: Cardiac and Critical Care
January 29 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Local NHS organisations in the Humber area are working together to review hospital services with a view to making improvements to services across a range of specialties. At the current time, the review is focusing on six service areas:
- Critical Care (intensive care)
- Complex Rehabilitation
They are holding clinical workshops to bring together doctors, nurses and therapists to discuss the best ways to deliver these services in the future. You can read all about the review on the STP website
They are also holding a number of patient involvement workshops and would like to involve as many current and former patients, their families, friends and carers in our work. This is so that they can learn from your experiences and ensure future services are designed in a way that meets the needs of local patients.
Three further workshops will take place in February (in Scunthorpe, Hull and Goole), with a focus on the other service areas currently under consideration (stroke, neurology and complex rehabilitation). These will be advertised on the website when dates have been confirmed.
If you are unable to take part on the day but would like to contribute by sharing your experiences/views on local services, please get in touch with the Humber Acute Services Review team by email email@example.com or by phoning 01482 344711
