The Lincolnshire Community Foundation is delighted to report that they’ve received a further donation from the Cornish family and are able to offer grants of up to £5,000.00 to community groups operating in Greater Lincolnshire. Applicants can ask for a contribution towards costs of delivering support for people with mental health problems; projects that help older people live independently or stimulate activity for them; support for prisoners and their families; practical support for homeless people; dementia support; activities for people with disabilities; food larders; bereavement care etc.
They would also welcome bids that deal with food security (seed swaps, community growing projects, education about food sovereignty and sustainability)
The family will consider re-applications, although priority may be given to groups that have yet to secure grant funding.
Eligible groups are not for profit community groups that have a governing document, accounts, bank account and relevant policies and procedures. New groups can also apply for start up funding.
Closing dates for receipt of applications are on 1 June 2017 and 1 January 2018. If you have an idea, but would like to discuss this with Foundation staff, please call Sue Fortune on 01529 305825 for a chat or to obtain an application form. Alternatively, you can download details from the website
Foundation staff are also available to visit your project to find out more and advise about form filling etc.
