ESF Community Grants Programme 5 2019-2021

Humber Learning Consortium have successfully been awarded the ESF Community Grants Programme 5 2019-2021 and are pleased to announce the launch of the 4th round of funding available.

ESF Community Grants  are part of the European Social Fund (ESF) programme which is distributing small grants in the Humber, East Riding, York and North Yorkshire region. The aim of the fund is to help unemployed people progress towards employment through access to learning and training opportunities.

Deadline for application receipt is Friday 25th September 2020 – 2.00pm.


All applications must be completed electronically. They will not accept any applications by post or email.

When completing the Electronic application form – the form cannot be saved throughout completion. Therefore you must answer every question fully in one session before submission. It is strongly advised that you download the word template paper version from HLC’s website to enable you to cut and paste the written narrative answers onto the electronic form.

*There are several changes to this programme so it is recommended that even if you have delivered ESF Community Grants before that you attend one of the Application Development workshops available. This new programme includes progression outputs that are required to be evidenced within 28 days of them occurring so please take advantage of the workshops to gather as much application information as you can. To book onto one of the below workshops please complete the form through the HLC website. Please note that due to the current situation all Application Development workshops will be delivered via Zoom and therefore places are limited to 1 per organisation, with a maximum of 10 places. You will receive a link to the workshop once you have successfully booked a place.

Places are limited – so please book early:

  • Wednesday 26th August 1:00pm – 3.00pm (via Zoom)
  • Wednesday 2nd September 2:00pm – 4:00pm (via Zoom)
