Formerly known as HERIB (Hull and East Riding Institute for the Blind), this is a support service for people with visual impairment inclusive of other needs (hearing impairment, brain injury, stroke, autism, leaning disabilities) Provides opportunities for social interaction, including transport if need be. Accommodation for those with low level support needs 22 x 1 bedroom flats, 1 x 3 bedroom flat
Information and support for carers and people living with dementia. Available by phone or face to face. Also Memory cafes and Singing for the Brain groups
The British Red Cross Independent Living Services provide valuable time-limited care and support to vulnerable people, helping them live independently in their own homes. Our services can help prevent people reaching crisis point.
