1 to 1 counselling, life-coaching, group work, and a drop-in for men who have been victims of domestic violence and sexual abuse either currently, historically or as a child. All work is undertaken by experienced and qualified counsellors. Psychotherapists, trauma workers and life-coaches, who have a full DBS check and undertake regular supervision.

Cloverleaf Advocacy provides independent advocacy services primarily for statutory requirements under the Mental Health Act (IMHA), Mental Capacity Act (IMCA) including the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards, the Care Act and also NHS complaints. Referrals are normally made by the local authority or NHS and are free to the client.

Rehabilitation, mentoring, befriending, advice, and supported housing for vulnerable people
Supporting people with mental health problems of all kinds from anxiety and depression through to severe and enduring conditions. This is through a series of 4 workshops covering confidence building, anxiety management, effective communication and positive future building. The groups are small in numbers, usually a maximum of 6 people. One to one support is also given to people who are not ready for group work.
Assisting the roofless community of Hull
The Warren Counselling Service provides counselling for children and young people aged 10-25. We offer both on-going and one-off counselling sessions on a wide range of issues, including bullying, bereavement, relationships and sexuality.
The History Troupe is a Hull based Heritage Education and Performing Arts group researching, devising and delivering content for schools, the stage and across the community.
We have recently collaborated with the Yorkshire Film Archive to create, Memory Bank: Hull – a new reminiscence resource based on Hull’s film heritage collections.
Memory Bank was produced in conjunction with healthcare professionals, carers and families, to provide a complete resource for reminiscence and life story work. The packs are all about using archive footage of familiar faces, places, events and everyday lives to re-discover and connect with our collective shared memories.
We are a local charity giving support to people recovering from mental health problems or who are socially excluded. The charity began as a project recycling old timber into garden furniture. This remains our core activity as well as gardening, giving people the opportunity to meet people and make new friends whilst learning new skills in a calm stress-free environment.
Yoga Therapy Hull uses the therapeutic adaptation of Yoga and Mindfulness to improve physical health and mental well-being adapted for all ages and levels of experiences in classes, workshops, retreats, and one-to-one sessions.
As a qualified Yoga Teacher, with additional training as a registered Yoga Therapist (CNHC), I work with a range of common medical conditions and under the General Medical Council’s guidance to doctors, they can refer patients to practitioners on the CNHC accredited register also for social prescribing, on which Yoga Therapy Hull can be found.
Under the other name of YoYogaSoul, we also work to improve the mental and physical well-being of pupils and staff in primaries, schools and colleges having over 20 years experience in education delivering mindfulness and yoga
The Liaison & Diversion Service aims to reduce re-0ffending by supporting those who have come into contact with the Criminal Justice System. We have staff based in Police Custody to screen offenders, who refer onto support staff. We intend to utilise volunteers to provide a befriending style and mentoring service through one-to-one support with lived experience peer support volunteers students and graduates who are or have studied related subjects to do the same. Community Links has teamed up with Inspire North and Foundation and works in collaboration with Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust to deliver this initiative which is intended to be facilitated initially over a six year period. Community Links is primarily a Mental Health Charity offering a number of projects intended to improve mental health and wellbeing across Hull and the Humber.
