Be active, Be healthy
Hull FC Foundation was awarded funding to run Be active, Be healthy. ‘Be Active, Be Healthy’ will provide a weekly programme of physical activity, social engagement, and group learning for 150 people per year from five key groups at risk of health inequality. The bespoke eighty-minute interventions will change attitudes to physical activity and motivate participants to make changes to their diet.

Fit and Fed
Goodwin Development Trust was awarded funding to run Fit and Fed. The Fit and Fed project will support community members to explore and participate in low impact physical activities to help alleviate physical and mental health issues and offer healthy lifestyle classes on food and cooking. Activities will be delivered by the Fit & Fed Co-ordinator, other Goodwin Services and sessional staff with the aim of improving local health outcomes and reduce social isolation.

Health for the Future
Together Women was awarded funding to run Health for the Future. Together Women wants to expose the women that it works with to; * healthy eating, by delivering basic cooking courses * a healthier lifestyle, by exposing them to a range of activities that can allow them to access different sports & activities. * an introduction to health services that can improve their life. Many of our women have not had the opportunity to experience healthy meals and activities.

Hull KR Stars
Hull KR Community Trust was awarded funding to run Hull KR Stars. Hull KR Community Trust has received funding to We will deliver a programme of physical literacy, play, dance, rugby league and nutrion to individuals, groups and communities who have additional physical and/or learning needs. These sessions will take place at the stadium, in schools and at community venues across Hull. They will be delivered by qualified coaches and a nutritionist.

IHOC Healthy Diets and Traditional Dances
Iranian Community of Hull was awarded funding to run IHOC Healthy Diets and Traditional Dances. Iranian Community of Hull (ICOH) has received funding to run a project which teaches both healthy, traditional, Iranian-style cooking and offers traditional Middle Eastern dance classes. Through the combination of healthy eating and exercise, we hope to address the growing issue of obesity in the Hull BAME (Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic) communities.

Keeping Fit And Eating Well
Local Works Ltd was awarded funding to run Keeping Fit And Eating Well. An evening programme of physical activity sessions designed to meet the needs of the most marginalised and isolated supported by experienced qualified staff. Additionally, there will be sessions on healthy eating and lifestyles and how to eat a healthy diet on a limited budget. The theme is healthy diet,regular exercise.

Open Monday Health and Wellbeing
St Philips Church was awarded funding to run Open Monday Health and Wellbeing. Open Monday Health & Wellbeing is aimed primarily at adults who find physical activity difficult. The project encourages people to eat more healthily and to increase their physical activity through participation in interactive activities including chair exercises and indoor games suitable for the level of a range of physical and mental abilities. The project is open Mondays(excluding Bank Holidays) from 12:00 hrs until 14:30 hrs

West Hull Walkers
Hessle Road Network was awarded funding to run West Hull Walkers. Through the West Hull Walkers (WHW) we will target 50 West Hull residents who would be considered to be the hardest to reach and involve them in weekly 30-60 minute local walks as well as weekly sessions around preparing healthy meals on a budget.
