Matthew Fawcett is the Engagement Manager for Health & Wellbeing for Hull City Council. He is trying to establish a network of organisations who would be willing to participate in an engagement network where members provide information such as broad issues and trends that their members, service users or customers are experiencing.
This will be critical in ensuring that the voice of the population, community or service users is heard at strategic levels so that services work for the public. Additionally organisations that affiliate to the partnership will also be able to access information that can inform their services, delivery plans and how they engage.
One of the more recent asks of this network is how the engagers of Hull can work together to have an impact on Covid19 locally. A part of this work will be providing the public an outlet to engage with services and that the Council are able to engage with communities if there are identified outbreaks locally such as in communities, schools or businesses.
