Young People Living Independently: Benefit Support

By January 18, 2018Consultations

Deadline 5pm on 31 January 2018

This call for evidence from the Social Security Advisory Committee (SSAC) seeks views on the effectiveness and impact of the support provided through the benefit system to young people living independently.

SSAC’s next research project, carried out as part of its independent work programme, will focus on the effectiveness and impact of the support provided through the benefit system to young people living independently.

They intend to start this work early next year (2018), but in the meantime they would like to receive evidence which will:

  • help them define the final scope for this work
  • provide a pool of evidence on a range of issues on which they can draw

SSAC would therefore welcome input from a broad range of organisations and individuals who have relevant insight or evidence to share with them.
