As part of their work for 2018 the Healthwatch Hull team are undertaking a review of peoples experiences of the Stroke / TIA pathway. This covers the whole stroke pathway from prevention and early identification of risk, in hospital care and discharge, through to rehabilitation and community support.
They are contacting local voluntary and community organisations and groups to arrange outreach sessions to speak to stroke survivors; they will be talking to people in the hospital and visiting residential homes to speak to both staff & residents about stroke services and to provide an opportunity for them to take part in the discussions.
If you would like to take part in these discussion or have a group that you would like us to attend please contact Gail Baines, Delivery Manager on 01482 499033 or e-mail email@example.com
If you or someone you know has had a stroke or TIA they would like to hear your experience of the pathway.
Alternatively, hard copy is available on request.
